Two Pele Trust Schools Named Best in the North East
Overview
We are delighted to celebrate the recognition of two of our schools, The Duchess’s Community High School and St Andrew’s CofE Primary School, in the newly released Sunday Times Parent Power 2026 rankings.
These rankings, which analyse the performance of more than 2,000 schools nationwide, offer families an invaluable view of academic excellence across regions and the country as a whole. To see Pele Trust schools appear so prominently is both an honour and a reflection of the dedication of our staff, students, and wider communities.
The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2026 placed The Duchess’s Community High School 9th in the North East, and St Andrew's CofE Primary School was 6th place. Both schools are 2 of 3 named in Northumberland!
These achievements represent years of dedication, countless moments of inspiration in classrooms, and the strong partnerships between our schools, families, and communities.
We are immensely proud of The Duchess’s Community High School and St Andrew’s CofE Primary School for this well-earned recognition.
